Deer Drags
Dragging a mature deer over rough ground can quickly turn into the hardest part of the hunt. I built my deer drags to provide a strong, comfortable, and straightforward way to move game without relying on an improvised rope or an uncomfortable handle.
Each drag is assembled using poly-coated metal cable, aluminum ferrules, an oak handle with my proprietary grip coating, and a heavy-duty carabiner. Choose the single-hand version for compact one-person use or the two-hand version when you want additional leverage or help from another hunter.
It is simple equipment built for one purpose: making the work after the hunt more manageable.

Choose Your Configuration
Single Hand / Single Man Deer Drag
A compact option designed for one hunter using one hand. It is easy to carry, quick to attach, and provides a much more comfortable pulling point than an improvised rope.
Two Hand / Two Man Deer Drag
Provides an additional pulling position for better leverage. It can be used with both hands by one hunter or shared by two hunters when additional pulling power is needed.
Materials & Construction
I assemble each deer drag using poly-coated metal cable, aluminum ferrules, an oak handle, and a heavy-duty carabiner.
The oak handle receives my proprietary coating to create a tactile, comfortable grip. Every connection is assembled with attention to durability and dependable field use.
Care Instructions
Remove dirt, moisture, and debris after each use.
Wipe the cable and hardware clean, then allow the drag to dry completely before storing it. Inspect the cable, ferrules, handle, and carabiner before each use.
Stop using the drag if any component shows significant wear, deformation, fraying, or damage. Store it indoors in a dry location.

I assemble every Scubs Hunting Products deer drag myself in North Carolina.
Nothing is pulled from a mass-production line or handed off to another company. Each drag is built one at a time and inspected before it leaves my shop.
I build equipment that I am willing to carry and depend on during my own hunts.
